Why aren’t you where you want to be?

People are constantly asking themselves why they aren’t where they want to be in life. Why they aren’t living the life they’ve dreamt of.

Well there’s an obvious answer as to why that is.

You aren’t where you want to be because you are constantly doing the same things you’ve always done and expecting change. Why do we do the exact same thing every day yet hope for a different outcome?

When you think about it like that you realise that for you to have change and follow a different path in life then you have to take the first step. It can be hard to figure out where it is you want to go but when you do you have to take action first.

Another reason why is that we are often scared to take that first step. We are scared because it entails coming out of our comfort zone. It means making a decision that we aren’t comfortable with. We aren’t used to doing something different.

If you really want that change in your life and if your heart is set on giving yourself the chance to change your life then you have to do things that look scary. You have to step outside the box you’re in.

The first step is the hardest. It’ll never be easy. If it were easy then we would have already done it right?

For it to work remember that you need to be in it 100% you can’t be in it 99% because then you’ll have 1% inside of you that is willing to give up. That 1% will win and it’ll be in control. You have to want it for yourself or the people around you more than you’ve ever wanted anything.

100% will get you there, 99% will stop you just before you’ve gotten to the place you’ve always wanted to be.
