It’s ok if you don’t feel great all the time.

You are going to have bad days. You are going to have mornings when you don’t feel like getting out of bed. You will have moments where you’re angry at everything from the kitchen sink to yourself. You’re going to have days where you lack motivation. You are going to want to give up. You are going to want to quit. You will be sick of the struggle you face day in and day out.

I’m here to tell you that it is ok. You are allowed to have all these days, moments and feelings.

You are allowed a bad day or a bad week and you are allowed to be upset about it.

Here’s the thing, you are not allowed to let it take control of you. You are allowed to let it happen and you are allowed to scream, to vent, to cry but you do not let it think for one small moment that it now has the power to define your every action. To control your every mood.

Do you ever have days when you feel angry? You just feel so angry and you don’t always know why. You are angry at the people you love, angry at people who have no idea you exist, angry at people who haven’t done anything wrong. You feel scared and confused as to why you are feeling this way. Let me tell you why.

You feel this way because you are angry at yourself. You are overthinking too much. You are building up a hatred inside that you are projecting outwards to everyone around you but you don’t realise that its projected the most towards you.

Give yourself a break. Stop overthinking about the smallest of things. Stop making things harder for yourself and allowing yourself to get worked up. You are tiring yourself out.

You can do what you put your mind to. You can be happy if you choose to be happy. You can be successful if you choose to be. On those morning, when you are laying in your bed completely demotivated but wanting to feel motivated then you just need to make that subconscious choice. You already want things to be different. You don’t want to be angry or sad or lazy. You are already half way there.

You are what you think. You are in control of your thoughts. Your thoughts create your actions so if you don’t want negative actions, stop thinking all these negative thoughts.

Take it from me, you are going to be ok. These small moments that make you feel so bad are temporary and will surpass. You are going to feel better and you are going to be ok. This isn’t a time in your life you will remember. It will all be over soon enough. You just need to remember that it is ok. You will be ok. You are enough. You can do it.
